New Music Friday: Anne-Marie, Ed Sheeran & More

Friday’s are incredibly exciting here at the Warner Music South Africa office. New Music Fridays is a day when all new releases hit digital and physical stores around the world. Every week, we will showcase some of our exciting releases right here on our website as we help you get your weekend playlist sorted. These are what new releases you should check out this week:

Anne-Marie – Ciao Adios

Anne-Marie has had a phenomenal 2016. Her smash hit ‘Alarm’ dominated charts around the world and she broke records alongside Clean Bandit on their massive single ‘Rockabye’ but this week, the singer is back with a solo single. Ciao Adios is about a woman finding out that her boyfriend is cheating on her. The song sees Anne-Marie cementing herself as one of the brightest new stars in pop music and we’re very excited about releasing this single.

Ofenbach – Be Mine (Acoustic)

Ofenbach released their smash hit single ‘Be Mine’ earlier and the track has been growing with every week. Today, however, the duo strip the song down and release a beautiful acoustic version of the song. The new version shows a different side of the song as well as just how strong the duo’s vocals are. The acoustic version is available on all major digital platforms now.

A Whole Lot Of Ed Sheeran

It’s undeniable that, to date, Ed Sheeran has released two of the biggest tracks of 2017. While ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Castle On The Hill’ continue to smash records, Ed is gearing up for the release of his new album ‘Divide’ on the 3rd of March. However, he’s surprised fans this week with acoustic versions of both tracks and has teamed up with Swedish DJs Galantis for an epic remix of ‘Shape Of You’. Ed does a fantastic job stripping the hit singles down and the remix is definitely a must-add to your party playlist this weekend. All three new songs are available on iTunes today.
